With the arrival of spring and in a spirit of renewal, Brin de Cocagne is slowly waking up from its winter period.
Guest rooms
This year, Toulouse-Lautrec, like the three other guest rooms in previous years, has been repainted in white to bring more luminosity and unity with the other guest rooms.
As in previous years, each room will have a courtesy tray with tea and instant coffee accompanied by Bruyère biscuits and, in an eco-responsible spirit, a water bottle for you to use during your stay in Brin de Cocagne.
In the bathrooms, you will find a dispenser of body and hair soap supplied by Pastel de la Serre and small soaps to take away from Oppidum.
The lounge
In October, we had the joy of welcoming a long-awaited Erard piano, ¼ tail, tuned, which, we are sure, will delight our music-loving guests.
I remind you that the lounge and its library are at your disposal for a moment of reading or quiet.
The park and the natural swimming pool
Despite last summer’s drought, the park and its flora are magnificent to the delight of our bird friends.
Still maintained by Nicolas entretien & services, we will keep the three large unmaintained circles, where many of the park’s small animals and birds spend their holidays.
Since a few days, our pair of kestrels is back, as every year, we will have the pleasure to discover a new “little one” in a few weeks.
Swimming pool
Following a technical incident, we had to change the liner of our natural pool. The work required us to remove all the plants and gravel from the vegetated pools. Last week, we started to replant the plants and were surprised to find that some of our friends the frogs and toads had returned.
Remember the buzz they created last summer on networks.
In this spring period, at Brin de Cocagne, the tits, robins, red-tails, magpies, oak woodpeckers and green woodpeckers are very active.
A few days ago, in the morning mist, we were visited by three young deers.
The guest table
Regarding the experiences of the previous years, I will propose you the guest table for:
- June, July and August, every day on reservation 24h in advance.
For the other months, the guest table will be offered on :
- Thursday, Friday and Saturday with 24 hours advance booking.
New: Drinks are no longer included in the 30€/person menu (starter + main course + dessert + coffee or infusion).
Our different Gaillac wines are available by the glass from 4,50€ or by the bottle from 10€.
Breakfasts
The form filled in on the day of your arrival is maintained.
This formula avoids wasting the products we offer you, home-made with local and natural products.
