We are happy to welcome you in our home, and let you enjoy our place and hospitality during your holiday breaks. Brin de Cocagne offers 4 guest rooms. Therefore, you will not be alone. We invite you to come to our guest house in a spirit of curiosity, friendliness, open-mindedness, and respect, towards your hosts and towards the place.
In the meantime, we kindly remind you of our basic guest house rules. It is a private place where we live as a family. Consequently, you are not allowed to invite your friends or family, even if you rent a room.
1. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
▪ Check-in
We wish to welcome you in the best possible way. Therefore, we invite you to schedule your arrival at Brin de Cocagne between 5pm and 7pm.
Any later arrival is subject to prior arrangements only.
You can leave your luggage beforehand if you wish.
Upon your arrival and after the formal introductions, we need a copy of your ID or passport.

At the end of your stay, please vacate the premises by 11am at the latest.
We are not hospitality professionals, so we need time to prepare the room for the next guest.
If you wish, we can store your luggage in a suitable room.
2. BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served inside or outside the house if the weather permits,
between 8:00 and 10:00 am.
3. GUEST TABLE DINNER
Dinner is served at 8pm, inside or outside the house if the weather is good. Before dinner, a welcome drink is offered by the owners at 7.30 pm. 2
4. GUEST ROOMS
Situated in the countryside and we have no mains drainage. Wastewater is treated by means of a septic tank. To ensure its proper functioning, we ask you to use only toilet paper and not to throw into the toilets any object or product that could clog the pipes and cause inconvenience to all the occupants (tampons and sanitary towels, make-up removal cotton wool, etc.).
Please turn off the air conditioning and lighting when you leave your room.
Please do not eat in the rooms or store food in them.
Picnicking on the property is not allowed.
Please respect the peace and quiet of other guests in case of late return or early departure.
All our rooms have been carefully decorated and prepared to help you feel relaxed and comfortable. Please take care of your room as well as of the other areas at your disposal. Other guests will come after you, and they will appreciate the place just like you did.
You will be charged for any intentionally damaged or soiled item.
The owners cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft.
5. GENERAL PROVISIONS
In compliance with decree N°2006-1386 of 15 November 2006, it is forbidden to smoke in public places. The entire establishment, including the rooms, is therefore non-smoking.
Within the framework of the protection of minors, the sale and consumption of alcohol is forbidden to minors.
Regarding all the occupants of the domain, we ask our guests to be decently dressed at all times and to be dressed and shod while in the common areas.
The configuration of the Brin de Cocagne is suitable for children over 15 years old.
Animals are not allowed on the estate.
Our visitors can access Wi-Fi for free knowing that we are in the countryside. You can call in WIFI or with 4G near the swimming pool. Thank you for understanding.
Customers are interested in returning the rooms in perfect condition at the end of their stay and in declaring, and in assuming, any possible degradation for which they could be responsible.
The kitchen is not left to the free disposal of the guests.
However, we can keep your food purchases during your stay in a fridge.
Theft and accidents: the owners decline all responsibility in the event of theft or bodily injury occurring in the property or in the car park left free of charge for the guests. 3
INTERNAL RULES OF THE NATURAL SWIMMING POOL
Within the framework of the French regulations on the use of family swimming pools open to guests, whose aim is to avoid accidents involving children, and to ensure harmonious use, we have drawn up these regulations for the use of the pool.
The swimming pool area is open to guests from 9am to 8pm
We decline all responsibility for any non-use for swimming.
The swimming pool is not supervised.
As the swimming pool is a family pool, its use is reserved only for members of the owners’ family and for people staying in guest rooms.
Any minors not accompanied by an adult is not allowed to enter the pool area.
The use of the swimming pool by children, whatever their age, remains the sole responsibility of their parents.
Noisy games, throwing objects are forbidden in and around the pool, diving and jumping from the edge of the pool are prohibited.
Please respect the tranquility of other people around the pool.
Take a shower before swimming and avoid bathing after using sunscreen or suntan oil.
Use a swimming costume reserved only for swimming.
Do not bring food or drink.
All users of the swimming pool must be covered by a Civil Liability and Defense and Recourse insurance.
The owners, on repeated failure to comply with any of the articles, can withdraw the access authorization to the pool area they have previously granted without any compensation whatsoever.
